Emergency responders in Tulsa, Oklahoma, saved five individuals who were experiencing simultaneous overdoses at a residence early Sunday morning.
According to emergency dispatch reports, a 911 call was received at approximately 12:30 a.m. from a home located on South 53rd West Avenue, where multiple individuals were reported unconscious and not breathing.
When first responders arrived at the scene, they discovered five people—three men and two women—in critical condition and on the brink of death. Firefighters and emergency medical personnel immediately began life-saving efforts, administering naloxone (commonly known as Narcan) and performing emergency resuscitation procedures.
The situation was described as intense and urgent. Radio communications from the scene indicated the severity of the emergency, with one firefighter reportedly calling for additional supplies, stating that they had run out of Narcan while working to revive the victims.
More than a dozen firefighters and EMS personnel were involved in the response, working rapidly to stabilize all five individuals.
Officials later confirmed that all five victims were successfully revived at the scene and transported to nearby hospitals. They are expected to survive.
Authorities have not yet determined what substances were involved in the overdoses. Investigators remained at the residence gathering evidence as they work to establish the cause of the incident.
The case remains under investigation.
